Pattern & Design
The sleeves incorporate a raglan design, allowing for smooth arm movement.
By removing the darts in the center of the shoulders, we created a stylish way to show off the raglan’s characteristic wide silhouette.
By using a solid construction in the hood, the clean silhouette is maintained even when the hood is down.
This combined with a stand-up collar results in a design that keeps you warm up to your neck, making it so comfortable you’ll never want to take it off.
The pocket under the arm is fitted with an auto-locking zipper to protect your valuables.
The neck drawstring has an adjuster that you can operate with one hand to easily change on the fly.
The hood and pocket incorporate a finely textured mesh for smooth and easy usage.
For our sewing, we took advantage of a flat seamer in order to maintain a soft, comfortable texture throughout.
Many manufacturers use an overlock sewing machine as it’s highly efficient for mass production, and a flat seamer requires more steps and is more difficult to use on a technical level. However, we chose to use a flat seamer in all necessary locations.
Material
We implemented a lightweight Japanse-made cardboard knit material that’s as soft as squeezing a sponge.
The inner and outer layer are woven together with space inbetween, like corrugated cardboard, trapping warm air and resulting in an insulating effect.
This abundantly stretchy material keeps up with your every move, making it the perfect choice for sportswear.
The springy texture and understated colors result in a garment with a high-class feel that’s extremely comfortable to wear.
The stand-up neck is gently fitted with Japanese-made ribs that are stiff and resilient.
